About

Sigil (2019) is John Romero’s fifth episode for The Ultimate Doom, made as a gift for the game’s 25th anniversary. Nine new levels pick up after the end of the fourth episode, full of the tricks, traps and sightlines that made his original maps famous.

Long a free download, Sigil later joined the official Doom re-releases, a rare case of a co-creator’s personal project becoming part of the canon.
