A Mars base, a breach to Hell, and one space marine with a shotgun. The 1993 shooter that changed everything.

About

id Software released Doom as shareware in December 1993, and the world’s office networks never recovered. You are a marine on Phobos, the last one standing after experiments with teleportation open the way for Hell’s armies, and the only way out is through them.

Fast, loud and built on clever level design, Doom made deathmatch a word, put fan-made WAD levels and mods in everyone’s hands, and has since been ported to almost anything with a screen.
