About
Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement is an action role-playing game in the Metroidvania style, developed by ArtPlay and published by 505 Games. It is part of the Bloodstained franchise and arrives in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.
Players return to a manor of shadowed corridors and hungry things, where exploration and hard-won power go hand in hand with the blade. It is the series’ continuing answer to the side-scrolling castle adventures that came before it, and another chapter in ArtPlay’s long courtship with the dark.
