About

Blasphemous (2019) is The Game Kitchen’s brutal Metroidvania, published by Team17. In Cvstodia, a land cursed by a power called the Miracle, the Penitent One rises from a pile of bodies, the last of a silent brotherhood, on a pilgrimage to break the cycle.

Its gorgeous, gory pixel art draws on Spanish religious art and Holy Week processions, and its combat is as unforgiving as its gods.
