Vessel of Hatred is the first expansion for Diablo IV, developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment with support from Blizzard Albany. It released on October 7, 2024, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.
The expansion carries the wanderer south into Nahantu, a jungle region steeped in old and hungry faiths, in pursuit of Neyrelle and the burden she chose to carry alone. It is known for adding the Spiritborn as a new playable class, and for deepening the long war against Mephisto, Lord of Hatred, whose reach is felt in every shadowed shrine and whispered pact.
