A curse binds the swordsman Zangetsu, and the night offers him no mercy: only demons, crumbling keeps, and a blade that must carry him through. Inti Creates developed and published Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, a gothic action game released on May 24, 2018, for platforms including the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One.
Made as a companion piece to the larger Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, this entry in the Bloodstained franchise reaches back to the 8-bit era for its look and its rules. Players gather allies on the journey and switch between them, drawing on each one’s weapon and power to survive the castle and choose which paths to walk.
