Outriders is a third-person action role-playing game series created by the Polish studio People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. The first game arrived in 2021, dropping players onto the wartorn colony world of Enoch, where the remnants of humanity fight the planet’s anomalies and each other for survival. It was built as a co-operative experience for up to three players, with four classes and loot-driven progression, and drew attention for launching as a complete package without a games-as-a-service model.

The series is a shooter first and an RPG underneath, defined by its blend of aggressive gunplay, destructive powers, and a bleak, brutal tone. Its signature imagery — storms, wastelands, and the desperate colonist war for a dying world — carries across the franchise, which now spans a single mainline title and a spin-off, with the universe being expanded through other media.
