About
Outriders is a third-person shooter with role-playing progression, developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. It launched on April 1, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Microsoft Windows and Google Stadia, and it became the first game in the Outriders franchise.
Set on a hostile colony world, the game follows the Outriders, who wield strange powers on a battlefield that has already been lost once. Built to be played alone or with a squad of up to three players, it is known for its mix of fast gunplay, ability-driven combat and loot, and for a campaign that treats survival as something to fight for rather than merely endure.
