Grime is a franchise of dark action-adventure games set in a hostile, organic world shaped from living stone. You play as a being with a black hole where a face should be, fighting and absorbing the strange creatures that stand in your way, taking their traits for your own until you are strong enough to face what waits at the end of it all.

The first game was developed by Clover Bite and published by Akupara Games, and it is known for its weighty combat, its monstrous, surreal art direction, and a world that shifts and breathes around the player. It drew attention for blending deliberate, punishing action with an atmosphere closer to gothic surrealism than conventional fantasy, and it has since grown into a series with further releases built on the same stone and hunger.
