The sky has opened, the ground has cracked, and Hyrule calls for a hero once more. Nintendo's open-air sequel to Breath of the Wild lets you build, fuse and soar across a kingdom torn apart.

About

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EPD and published by Nintendo, released worldwide on May 12, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch, with a later version for the Nintendo Switch 2. It is a main entry in The Legend of Zelda series and the direct sequel to Breath of the Wild.

Hyrule is thrown into upheaval when a buried evil awakens beneath the castle and the land is broken apart, opening the skies above and the depths below to exploration. Players guide Link across these layered realms, wielding new abilities that let him rewind time, pass through solid ceilings and fuse objects into weapons and vehicles. Its open-ended building and crafting, added to the freedom of the original, made it one of the most acclaimed games of its era.
