Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection

The fists fly again. Namco's arcade update to Tekken 5 brings new fighters, new stages and harder-hitting combat to the arcade and, later, to PlayStation handhelds and consoles.

About

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is a 3D fighting game developed and published by Namco, released in arcades in December 2005. As an update to Tekken 5, it refines the same engine with rebalanced fighters and fresh content, carrying the series’ tale of family, vengeance and the King of Iron Fist Tournament onward.

The game is remembered for its expanded roster of returning favourites and newcomers, along with added stages and modes that made it a staple of competitive play. It later arrived on the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3, where it introduced a generation of players to one of the most respected entries in the Tekken series.
