Konami's 1991 Super Nintendo whip-cracking classic, in which Simon Belmont storms Dracula's castle through eight stages of gothic horror.

About

The night is long, and the castle has been waiting. Super Castlevania IV, developed and published by Konami, arrived in 1991 as the first Castlevania built for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Players take up the Vampire Killer once more to stride through Dracula’s domain, one stage at a time.

It is remembered as the most atmospheric of the early Castlevania games, with an eight-direction whip, swinging and grappling for the first time, and a soundtrack that haunts long after the console is switched off. Many consider it the high point of the series’ traditional platforming era.
