The world warriors return. Street Fighter IV brought Capcom's fighting series back to the arcade and into living rooms, and reminded everyone why a well-placed hadouken matters.

About

Street Fighter IV is a 2D fighting game developed by Capcom and Dimps and published by Capcom, released in arcades in 2008 and later on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and other platforms. A main entry in the Street Fighter franchise, it revived a series that had been dormant for years, trading the sprite work of its predecessors for a painted, ink-and-brush 3D look that still plays on a flat plane.

Its roster mixes returning world warriors with newcomers, and its combat rewards focus, timing and the nerve to burn meter for a comeback. Known for its Focus Attacks, its cinematic Ultra Combo finishes, and a competitive scene that filled arcades and tournament halls again, Street Fighter IV is remembered as the fight that brought fighting games back into the spotlight.
