StarCraft: Remastered

StarCraft: Remastered brings the original StarCraft and its Brood War expansion back to the battlefield with updated visuals and audio, while the strategy underneath stays exactly as unforgiving as you remember.

About

StarCraft: Remastered is a real-time strategy game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, released on August 14, 2017 for Microsoft Windows and macOS. It is a remaster of the original StarCraft and its Brood War expansion, rebuilding the visuals and audio for modern displays while leaving the underlying game logic untouched so that two decades of tactics, build orders, and muscle memory still hold.

As part of the StarCraft franchise, the release is known less as a remake than as a careful restoration: the same three factions, the same campaigns, the same balance, dressed for a new generation of screens and paired with modern online features for players who never stopped fighting over the Koprulu sector.
