Link’s Crossbow Training

A Zelda spin-off built to show off the Wii Zapper: shoot targets, defend the land, and prove your aim across Hyrule.

About

Link’s Crossbow Training is a shooting game set in the world of The Legend of Zelda, developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Wii on November 19, 2007. Rather than adventuring through dungeons, the hero takes up a crossbow, and the game is played by aiming the Wii Remote at the screen and firing.

It was made as a showcase for the Wii Zapper, the plastic shell that holds the Remote and Nunchuk like a gun, and in many regions it was sold bundled with the accessory. Where the main Zelda games are built on exploration and puzzles, this one is built on quick, scored shooting: hit targets cleanly, chain your shots for combos, and take down the enemies of Hyrule.
