About

Ghost Song is a Metroidvania developed by Old Moon and published by Humble Games, released on November 3, 2022 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S. Players guide a lone figure through the buried ruins of a hostile alien moon, gathering weapons and abilities to push deeper into caverns where the dead still have something to say.

The game is known for its hand-drawn art and its heavy, measured combat, closer to a slow duel than a sprint, and for a melancholy tone that lingers on loneliness and what is left behind. It sets itself apart from the faster, more acrobatic entries in the genre by asking for patience rather than speed, and it stands as the first title in the Ghost Song franchise.
