A dieselpunk Metroidvania in which a rabbit resistance fighter named Rayton swings a giant mechanical fist through the occupied city of Torch City.
About
Torch City has fallen. The Legion has taken the streets, the machines do the marching, and what is left of the resistance is one rabbit with a fist of iron and steam. F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is an action Metroidvania developed by TiGames and published by Bilibili, released on September 7, 2021, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and later brought to Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
Players guide Rayton through a hand-drawn dieselpunk metropolis, chaining combo-driven combat with his mechanical fist and other weapons while unlocking new traversal abilities that pry open the city’s interconnected districts. The game is best known for its furry cast and its striking industrial art direction, and it earned attention as one of the more accomplished Chinese-developed Metroidvanias of its time.
