About

Aeterna Noctis is a Metroidvania developed and published by Aeternum Game Studios, released on December 15, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S. It is the first game in the Aeterna Noctis franchise.

You are the King of Darkness, stripped of your power and left to wander a hostile, hand-drawn world. To reclaim what was taken, you travel a vast interconnected map, gathering new abilities that open paths once closed to you, and face the gods and beasts that stand in your way. The game is remembered for its demanding platforming and precise combat, and for the stark black-and-light artwork that gives its ruined realm its shape.
