The Tarnishing of Juxtia is a gothic dark fantasy action role-playing game released in 2022. Players descend through the ruined realm of Juxtia, whose holy order has been consumed by a creeping decay, and must carve their way past towering monsters and corrupted saints to reach the source of the tarnish. Combat rewards patience, positioning and punishment: enemies strike hard, and death is a teacher, not a setback.

The franchise is a single game, known in the wider genre as one of the harder entries in the wave of side-scrolling action RPGs that followed in the wake of the soulslike formula.
