Castlevania: Harmony of Despair

Konami's 2010 multiplayer Castlevania, in which hunters from across the saga's history descend into Dracula's castle together.

About

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is a multiplayer action game developed and published by Konami, released in 2010 for Xbox 360 and later brought to PlayStation 3. Rather than following a single hero, it gathers characters from across the Castlevania saga and drops them into Dracula’s castle side by side.

Up to six players explore enormous, sprawling stages together, hunting for loot and gear while the camera pulls back to show the whole map at once. Familiar faces from throughout the series appear as playable hunters and downloadable additions, and their differing abilities drive the cooperative play. The game is known for that heavy emphasis on loot, grinding and teamwork within the Metroidvania framework, an unusual direction for the franchise.
