About
Dracula’s castle has risen once more, and the Belmont bloodline answers. Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge is a gothic platformer developed and published by Konami, released for the Game Boy on July 12, 1991. It is the second Castlevania title made for the handheld.
Players descend into a castle of four distinct stages, chosen in the order they dare, each ruled by a lord of the night. Whips crack, sub-weapons fly, and the familiar melodies of the series echo through stone halls. A follow-up to Castlevania: The Adventure, Belmont’s Revenge is remembered as one of the handheld’s finer action games and a worthy chapter in Konami’s long-running saga.
