Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer is an expansion for the action role-playing game Diablo III, developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It was released on June 27, 2017, for macOS, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One, and later came to the Nintendo Switch.
The expansion restores the Necromancer to the Diablo series as a playable class, a wielder of blood, bone and the restless dead. Alongside the new class come additional cosmetic items and other extras for players of the base game. It is known for bringing one of the franchise’s most requested classes back into the fold.
