About

Tekken 8 is a 3D fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Studios with Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It arrived on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S, the first main installment of the Tekken series made for that console generation and the first to be built on Unreal Engine 5.

The game continues the long-running saga of the Mishima bloodline, with the King of Iron Fist Tournament turning to a fresh generation of fighters. It is known for its aggressive combat design, which pushes players to press forward, chase the Heat system for extra pressure, and answer with the new Heat Burst and Heat Smash attacks while the Rage system returns to decide desperate rounds.
