About

Path of Exile 2 is an action role-playing game of dark fantasy from Grinding Gear Games, the New Zealand studio that built the original Path of Exile. It launched in early access on December 6, 2024 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S, and continues the series’ habit of giving its players more systems than they will ever have time to master.

The game is the successor to a free-to-play cult favorite known for the passive skill tree and the socketed gem system, and it brings back that same baroque approach to character building while moving deeper into Wraeclast, a continent where every god you meet is either dying, lying, or both. Six classes. Piles of loot. Corpses everywhere.
