Hollow Knight began as a Kickstarter from Team Cherry, a tiny studio in Adelaide, and became one of the most loved Metroidvanias ever made. It sends a small, silent knight into Hallownest, a vast ruined kingdom of insects, with precise combat, haunting music and a world you map yourself, one hidden passage at a time.

Hornet, the needle-wielding princess-protector from the first game, takes the lead in Hollow Knight: Silksong (2025). It started life as a planned add-on and grew into a full sequel set in the kingdom of Pharloom.
