Moadra is the series of Finnish studio Gloomsoft, built around the Neera, an alien warrior people, and Protea VI, the sand-swept planet where their ancestors died out 20,000 years ago. Whatever happened there is still buried in its ruins, and it is still alive.

The first game, Moadra (2026), is a gory 2D Metroidvania openly inspired by Aliens: Lieutenant Moadra Meras crosses Protea VI’s deserts, frozen peaks and an overrun research facility, evolving new powers from the Protoplasm of every creature that falls.
