A boy from the forest draws a blade from its pedestal and wakes to a Hyrule rotting under Ganondorf's shadow. Nintendo's leap into three dimensions, and still the measure of the Zelda legend.

About

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 on November 21, 1998. The fifth entry in the Zelda series, it follows a young hero who travels between childhood and adulthood to stop Ganondorf and seal away the darkness engulfing Hyrule, aided by the ocarina of the title and the temples that answer its songs.

It was the first Zelda built for three dimensions, with a camera and targeting system that became a template for the genre. Later reissued on the Nintendo GameCube and the iQue Player, it is remembered as one of the most influential games ever made.
